PROJECTS

This was my first ever story and it gave me alot of experience. I had to talk to B.O.E members and many important people in Manchester. So it gave me people experience as well as reporting. I had to report on this story and it was my first time ever. I also filmed interviews and asked questions to some of the interviewees. I also helped write the script but it was difficult for my first time.

This story didnt turn out as well as me and my partner had hoped. Considering how the creator of the saveone organization wanted money from us for doing a story. We werent sble to put it in the pulse but we still did a good job. I had to set up the interview with John Miller and had to message him for infrmation while I also filmed the interviews and wrote some of the script.

This was a very fun story to do. The crowd was in to the game throguhout all of it. Which really helped us with our story. During this story I had to bring the camera on to the field and film from there as well as from the stands. Not only that but I had to ask the questions to the fans we interviewed. Also before the game actually started I had to get b-roll of the players which i got from both the press box and the field.

At first, they wouldnt let us film in the cafeteria due to health concerns. After we got confirmation that we could we used the slider to capture different shots. We also moved around the camera alot to get a wide range of angles. Zach set up the interviews while Iasked the questions. We both took part in editing and writing the script.

This story was hard to get varying shots. There was only a small op-en area where we could film and we couldnt move around because they used the back of the stage. But we still managed to get great shots. Lindsey also got permission to use the set for our stand up so that was really cool. I was the one who got most of the b-roll and we worked equally on the rest of the story.

This story was very time consuming. Me and Jason stayed at tryouts for the whole day and got alot of b-roll. For both men and women. Jason set up the interview with Coach Reiser while I set up the interview with the girls coach. Both of us did equal work on both the editing of the project and the writing of the script.

This was one of the more interesting stories that I did. I learned alot about how backpacks negatively affect students and it was a very informational story. The guy we interviewed was very helpful, he even gave us a whole packet of information that he made himself. Dominique recorded the interview with him and all of the other ones, while I began the editing. We both wrote the script and used the guys information in it.

This story was of the play The Little Shop of Horrors. It was a greta story and I was happy I was assigned to it because it was a fantastic play. All the actors did a great job and that made our b-roll great. I had to film this story along with Kyle. He set up the interviews while I asked questions and he wrote most of the script for it. While both of us edited

This was a very cute story. The girls got the b-roll because I had a prior conflict. However I did write some of the script while editing the story and helping make the lower thirds. This was a very well doen story and I enjoyed working on it

This story was hard because I play for the baseabll team so i couldnt help too much with the game b-roll. Which we didnt get because their was a problem when myles recorded it. So I ahd to film practice while also getting the interviews for the story. Which I shot by myself. We aslo had to get shots from sports broadcatsing, so we did the best with what we were given.

For the chess story there was a bit of miscommunication on dates. We went ont eh friday after the tournament but we still got great interviews and video of the award. Me and Jason did an equal amount of work on this story and even though we werent able to do what we wanted we still made a good story.

I was on vacation the day after the stories were chosen and I was back at school on tuesday. The day before the story was due, however I did help get about 5 of the interviews and had to set up a few of them as well as ask the questions to one. So i helped them with that as much as I could.

This was probably my favorite story that I have worked on throughout my career. Seth is now a football player in the NFL. and him being from Manchester was really cool. His whole story was great and I loved working on it. I wrote most of the script and the lead ins but they were changed by Jason because he plays football and knows more than I do.
